History

The History of Loudness

Founded in 1976, Loudness has built its trajectory alongside the evolution of professional sound reinforcement in Brazil. What began with musical productions and live performances has transformed, over almost five decades, into an operation specializing in the development of audio solutions for events, venues, special projects, broadcast, and intercom systems.

From its earliest years, the company understood that keeping up with market transformations required more than just renewing equipment. It was necessary to continuously invest in knowledge, engineering, and operational development. This vision allowed it to expand its operations to projects of varying scales, incorporating new technologies and building a team prepared to handle increasingly complex operations.

Throughout this evolution, Loudness has participated in projects that have marked different moments in music, entertainment, sports, and culture. The company was present in the sound engineering for the Diretas Já rally, was involved in bringing major Broadway musicals to Brazil with A Chorus Line, participated in national tours of important artists, and became a benchmark in sound engineering for symphonic concerts, including performances by the New York Philharmonic in Brazil.

In the following decades, it expanded its operations to international productions, television, and broadcast, also developing a division dedicated to Special Projects. This experience allowed the company to apply the knowledge acquired in temporary events to the development of permanent systems for arenas, corporate spaces, institutions, and environments that require customized solutions and continuous technical support.

This process culminated in some of the most significant projects in the company's history. Loudness was responsible for developing the audio systems for stadiums such as Mané Garrincha, Arena da Amazônia, and Allianz Parque, in addition to participating in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Simultaneously, it consolidated its international presence in Broadway productions in Latin America, sporting events, large-scale shows, and infrastructure projects for various markets.

More than a series of historical milestones, this trajectory represents the construction of a culture based on engineering, operational responsibility, and continuous evolution. Each project broadened the team's experience, strengthened processes, and consolidated Loudness's ability to develop reliable solutions for operations of varying levels of complexity.

Today, Loudness brings together nearly five decades of experience to serve live events, special projects, permanent spaces, broadcast and intercom systems, maintaining the commitment that has accompanied its history since 1976: to develop audio solutions with technical excellence, operational reliability and a focus on the needs of each project.
